Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

The project of including youth and children in Brazil's NDCs aims to ensure that those who are most affected by climate change, but are rarely heard in decision-making, have a voice. Children and young people have a lot to teach and contribute to the creation of fairer and more effective climate policies. Our goal is to create spaces where these groups can express themselves and actively participate in the formulation and review of the NDCs, ensuring that their perspectives are integrated into the country’s climate goals.

Within our organization, we give space and visibility to these voices, promoting a more inclusive and intergenerational approach. Through activities such as workshops and dialogues, we want the new generations to feel part of the climate transformation process, and that their realities, challenges, and dreams are taken into account.
