Reclimate empowers rural, marginalized communities—especially women and youth—by offering sustainable income opportunities through biochar production and carbon credit generation. In many rural areas, women are responsible for waste management and farming. By training them in biochar production, we provide a pathway to economic empowerment while supporting climate resilience. The project also creates a space for youth, particularly in vulnerable areas, to engage in climate-smart agriculture and renewable energy solutions, opening up future job opportunities in the green economy.
