Project Summary / Description:
This initiative seeks to collaborate to generate a positive transformation in El Pilon´s community and enhance the well-being of the local population. Through different methods and implementations, the project objectives are water security, soil health, food security, and clean energy.
How Project Affects Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions:
['Replaces/avoids GHGs (e.g., projects that replace sources of GHGs, such as the burning of fossil fuels for electricity, heat, transport, or other energy uses)', 'Removes/stores GHGs (e.g., projects that capture, sequester, or otherwise enhance the "sinks" that accumulate and store GHGs)']
Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
At RENAR, we focus on supporting vulnerable communities facing a water crisis exacerbated by climate change. We work closely with community members and key stakeholders to implement sustainable solutions that address challenges related to water quantity, quality, availability, and accessibility. By involving the community in all stages of the project, we aim to empower them to make informed decisions and ensure the long-term sustainability of the results.
