Our team includes and is led by members from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds. Additionally, we actively engage early-career professionals and students through partnerships with institutions like the University of British Columbia (UBC), leveraging inclusive hiring practices and resources such as UBC’s Equity & Inclusion Office and organizations serving equity-seeking groups, such as EngiQueers, the First Nations Technology Council, and Women in Engineering Canada.

Looking forward, we plan to engage with Indigenous communities to explore job opportunities in areas such as aggregate extraction for ERW, ensuring meaningful collaboration and benefits for communities who are often underlooked in the climate tech movement. By prioritizing EDI and developing partnerships with global communities such as Veolia who have capacity for international impact in the sustainability sector, Rockburst aims to empower and include underrepresented groups in the climate movement during each step of development.
