Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
In developing regions like Africa and Asia, awareness of climate change impacts remains low, leaving communities particularly vulnerable to these effects. School-aged children are among those most affected, facing heightened anxiety about their futures. Unpredictable weather events—ranging from heat waves to flooding—are increasingly disrupting students' education and preventing consistent school attendance. The need to build climate awareness and resilience in young people, especially in developing nations, is more urgent than ever. By empowering youth with knowledge and sustainable practices, we can equip them to navigate and address the environmental challenges of today and tomorrow. Women have often been overlooked in the fight against climate change, despite their influential roles within their communities. As key decision-makers in households and trusted voices, women have the power to drive meaningful change through education and advocacy. Our initiative focuses on empowering women in rural and underserved communities by providing them with knowledge about climate change and sustainable practices. By equipping them with the tools to understand and address climate challenges, we aim to enable them to become catalysts for spreading awareness and fostering action within their communities. This approach leverages their unique influence to create a broader and lasting impact.
