How Project Affects Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions:
['Replaces/avoids GHGs (e.g., projects that replace sources of GHGs, such as the burning of fossil fuels for electricity, heat, transport, or other energy uses)', 'Reduces GHGs (e.g., projects that reduce sources of GHGs, such as through efficiency or other changes in consumption)']
Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
Our project already is addresses the most marginalised groups and refugees who lacks access to clean energy solutions by 90% . This over 400000 comes in with nothing and results to communities conflicts since they go for trees planted within the community. As a company we have employed 29 staffs of which 11 are refugees from different nationality and 60% of the total population are women. More interesting is that 90% of our staff are under 35 years starting with its founder/CEO this proves a commitment to ensure integration between the communities and the refugees is well integrated and supported. Our project has also addressed high level of unemployment by training women groups to be under self employed and sell our products through shops and churches . We have contracted 211 bussiness distributors who stock our products and sell within the communities this reduces the GVB and enhanced cohesion. In management staff 60% is women led department since the focus is more on clean cooking and women understand key role to be played to ensure safety of one another.
