Teaching Hope International's Climate Action Initiative in Nigeria implements sustainable food systems by promoting climate-resilient crops, sustainable agriculture practices, and reducing food waste. We supports local food systems, such as farmers' markets and community-supported agriculture programs, to boost local economies and reduce transportation emissions. our initiative also provides training and education for farmers, policymakers, and consumers on sustainable food systems and climate-resilient agriculture. We also advocate for supportive policies and create an enabling environment for sustainable food systems to thrive. This holistic approach enhances food security, improves livelihoods, and contributes to a greener future in Nigeria and across Africa.

Inclusive Decision-Making: Ensuring all inclusive representation in project decisions, planning, implementation and governance. Economic Opportunities: Providing access to climate-smart agriculture practices and markets for farmers. Capacity Building: Strengthening local organizations and community groups. Representation in Our Organization:- Women: Holds 40% of leadership positions and 50% of field staff. Youth: 30% of team members are under 30, leading innovation and outreach. Local Communities: our Staff and partners are predominantly from target communities. By empowering these groups, we amplify their voices, build resilience, and drive inclusive climate action in Nigeria.
