Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

Our project is intentionally designed to empower groups that are traditionally underrepresented in the climate movement, including youth, women, indigenous communities, and climate vulnerable populations. As participants of the YECO cohort: a globally diverse youth leadership program we are connected to a broad network of young innovators and community leaders from multiple countries, backgrounds, and marginalized groups. This diversity directly shapes our project’s design, decision-making, and outreach strategies. 
Agryforest and Varta.space provide open access platforms where early career researchers, young writers, and students can publish scientific work, share local climate stories, and participate in knowledge creation without financial or institutional barriers. Through our tree planting CMS and community hub (doglure), we enable grassroots groups, rural youth, and small community organizations to map restoration activities, access scientific guidance, and showcase their contributions on a global stage.
We actively prioritize collaboration with women led initiatives, student groups, and climate affected communities by offering mentorship, training, and opportunities to co-create field data, publications, and media content.
Representation is built into our structure: our core team includes young researchers and collaborators from multiple regions. As we scale, we will continue strengthening inclusive leadership and expanding opportunities for those historically excluded from climate decision making.
