NovFeed’s directly empowers underrepresented groups, particularly women, youth, and climate-vulnerable smallholder farmers by increasing their access to affordable, sustainable agricultural inputs and practical technical training. Our biofertilizers and climate-smart practices help farmers improve yields, reduce input costs, and build resilience to climate shocks, which disproportionately affect low-income rural households. Through our Local Service Provider (LSP) model, we prioritize working with youth groups, and women-led enterprises to distribute products, conduct training, and provide soil testing and Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) support. This model creates income opportunities and strengthens local leadership in the green economy.
Within the organization, underrepresented groups play a central role in driving strategy and innovation. NovFeed is co-founded and led by a woman CEO, supported by a diverse scientific and operations team that includes women and young professionals in biotechnology, microbiology, and engineering. The leadership team reflects the communities we serve, ensuring that project design and implementation remain inclusive and responsive to real farmer needs.
