Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

(1) Women as primary beneficiaries—
Farmer Lifeline directly empowers women, who represent 65% of our users. Despite contributing 60% of the rural agricultural labor force in Sub-Saharan Africa, over 91% of women farmers lack access to extension services and fewer than 5% receive formal agricultural credit. Our AI-technology bridges this structural gender gap by providing accessible, affordable, real-time agronomic intelligence.

(2) Women in leadership and workforce—
We are a women-founded organization with a gender-inclusive hiring policy ensuring 60% of our workforce is women, positioning them as both primary beneficiaries and key leaders in developing and scaling our climate-smart technology.

(3) Tech4Her program—
Our Tech4Her Program trains women and girls from rural, underserved communities—many entering from non-technical backgrounds—to distribute, install, and maintain our AI devices. 

A clear example is Clara, who previously earned $30 per month selling vegetables and doing manual construction jobs; she now earns $400 per month as a Regional Head training other Tech4Her women. We have trained and deployed 141 women to date, and with Keeling Curve support, will enroll 550 women by 2026 and 1,450 within three years.
