Our solar project is therefore structured not merely as a technical exercise in carbon avoidance, but as a deliberate engine for inclusive employment and meaningful representation, actively empowering groups typically marginalized within the broader climate and energy movements. This commitment is realized through a dual strategy: fostering local green job creation for vulnerable communities and ensuring robust diversity within our own organizational structure. A critical component of our social impact is the focus on local workforce development within the communities hosting our facilities. Many of the sites are located in neighbourhoods classified as climate-vulnerable or low-income, where economic opportunity can be scarce. By prioritizing the hiring of local residents, and individuals who face barriers to employment for installation, commissioning, and long-term maintenance roles, we translate environmental investment directly into economic empowerment. This commitment is enforced through our contracting agreements with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction partners, who are required to meet specific local hiring targets. This approach is transformative because it not only provides living-wage, high-growth green jobs but also builds a sense of community ownership and capacity, turning residents into active participants rather than passive recipients of the energy transition
