Project Summary / Description:
AgriBioCycle Initiative is a clean-energy and circular-economy program that converts agricultural waste—palm kernel shells, corn cobs, and cassava peels—into biofuel and biofertilizer using AI-supported pyrolysis. Our initiative reduces emissions, prevents waste burning, empowers farmers, and delivers sustainable energy solutions that strengthen climate resilience in rural communities.
How Project Affects Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions:
['Replaces/avoids GHGs (e.g., projects that replace sources of GHGs, such as the burning of fossil fuels for electricity, heat, transport, or other energy uses)', 'Reduces GHGs (e.g., projects that reduce sources of GHGs, such as through efficiency or other changes in consumption)', 'Removes/stores GHGs (e.g., projects that capture, sequester, or otherwise enhance the "sinks" that accumulate and store GHGs)']
Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
AgriBioCycle empowers climate-vulnerable rural communities by turning agricultural waste into clean energy, soil inputs, and income opportunities at the local level. We prioritize women and youth in feedstock aggregation, biochar distribution, and hub operations, creating skilled and semi-skilled green jobs close to their communities. Women farmers benefit from reduced fuel costs, improved soil fertility, and targeted training on biochar use to increase yields and household income. Youth are engaged as operators, technicians, and data collectors, building technical and climate leadership skills. These groups are also represented within our organization through inclusive hiring for operations, digital systems, and community engagement roles. By embedding ownership, skills transfer, and revenue participation at the community level, AgriBioCycle ensures that underrepresented groups are not just beneficiaries, but active drivers of climate solutions.
Mission Statement:
Cabax Energy Ltd is committed to transforming agricultural waste into clean biofuel and sustainable biofertilizer through innovative pyrolysis and smart technologies. Our mission is to reduce emissions, empower farmers, promote circular-economy practices, and deliver accessible renewable energy solutions that drive climate action and support resilient, environmentally conscious communities across Africa.
