Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

Green Fuel directly empowers climate-vulnerable, low-income communities primarily women and youth who bear the highest burden of indoor air pollution and energy poverty. Women are traditionally responsible for cooking fuel collection in Africa, we are enabling them to save up to 10 hours weekly, and with clean gas prevent them from respiratory illnesses. Within our organization, these groups are central. Our installation and maintenance team is predominantly composed of local youth and women, providing them with technical skills and dignified green jobs. By ensuring deep community representation in both our workforce and customer base, we guarantee our climate solution promotes sustainable, equitable development while advancing decarbonization.

Mission Statement:

We are on the mission to advance Africa green house gases emission reduction and community sustainability by capturing potent methane from waste to fuel Africa ‘s community kitchen displacing wood fuels  while also reducing black carbon emission resulting from burning them.
