Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

We focus on communities in Sanda Magbolontor chiefdom that carry the highest climate burden but receive the least support. Our work takes place in rural hard-to-reach villages where women, youth and smallholder farmers face limited income, weak market access and rising climate stress. These groups are not only beneficiaries, they shape our project.
Women lead half of our trained farmers and run the cooperative that manages parts of the farm and nursery. They earn from seedling sales, nut collection and processing. This reduces their dependence on charcoal and timber trading, seasonal labor and strengthens their decision making power. Youth form the core field team that manages planting, data collection and outreach. 
Our CashewLink app is designed with offline functionalities and low literacy users in mind. Local farmers guide the features so the tool works for those who are usually excluded from digital services. The community also influences how we track pests, moisture and carbon data.
Inside the organization, women and youth hold key roles in training, operations and cooperative management. 
This approach keeps the project rooted in people who are often pushed to the margins of the climate conversation and ensures they gain income, skills and voice.
