How Project Affects Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions:
['Replaces/avoids GHGs (e.g., projects that replace sources of GHGs, such as the burning of fossil fuels for electricity, heat, transport, or other energy uses)', 'Reduces GHGs (e.g., projects that reduce sources of GHGs, such as through efficiency or other changes in consumption)']
Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
Dosy centers women, an underrepresented group in the mobility and tech sectors, by providing safe, female-only ride-hailing services and opportunities to become riders, instructors, and trainers. We have trained over 8,000 women and onboarded 3,000+ female instructors, empowering them economically and socially. Women gain confidence, mobility independence, and skills in safety, navigation, and customer service. By focusing on female-led green mobility, we also contribute to reducing CO2 emissions in urban areas. Women are actively represented in leadership roles, including our co-founders and senior management, ensuring that decision-making reflects the perspectives of those we serve. In doing so, Dosy bridges gender gaps in transportation, technology, and climate action, creating replicable models for other regions.
