Project Summary / Description:

Kyrgyzstan is an agrarian, mountainous country. Ninety-four percent of the country's territory is mountainous, so farming presents significant challenges. Among them is access to clean drinking and irrigation water. For years, farmers have been concerned about a shortage of irrigation water for agricultural work.
The situation is particularly challenging in the south of the country. There is little precipitation in the summer, and there is almost no snow in winter. The main sources of water are mountain streams, but they are located in difficult-to-reach areas.

Furthermore, temperature fluctuations lead to unstable precipitation patterns, and more frequent temperature peaks cause aridity and drought, especially in mountain pastures.

With a sharply continental climate, the high mountain regions of the country, where pastures are primarily located, are characterized by extreme air temperatures ranging from +40 to -40 degrees Celsius and low precipitation in the spring and summer.

During melting, artificial glaciers provide livestock breeders with water for drinking and domestic needs, as well as for watering livestock.

Mission Statement:

Technoking is actively involved in various social projects. For example, our company participated in a project aimed at increasing civic participation in local issues called "Zharandar Arakette" (literally "Citizens in Action"). The project was implemented over seven years, beginning in 2018, by the US National Democratic Institute in the Kyrgyzstan.
