Project Summary / Description:

No Limit International will expand its Climate Clubs across schools in Yaoundé, engaging thousands of youth in climate action and environmental leadership. Participants will plant 500–700 native trees in degraded school and community sites and use a mobile app to record growth, soil condition, and early wildlife activity, introducing digital monitoring to traditional restoration practices. Clubs will create eco-art, organize recycling campaigns, host interactive workshops, and more to explore climate issues. By blending hands-on restoration, technology, and creative learning, the project gives young people the tools and confidence to care for local ecosystems and strengthen resilience within their communities.

Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

No Limit International is committed to empowering youth, especially those from underrepresented and climate-vulnerable communities in Yaoundé. Many students in the areas we serve have limited access to environmental education or organized programs that allow them to engage meaningfully with climate action. By creating Climate Clubs in local schools, the project provides consistent opportunities for young people to gain knowledge, develop leadership skills, and take tangible action in restoring their environments.

Girls and young women are a central focus of our programming. Club leadership roles, training sessions, and hands-on activities are designed to be inclusive, ensuring that female students have equal opportunities to lead restoration projects, monitor tree growth, and organize eco-education activities. This approach challenges traditional gender norms in STEM and environmental fields, empowering girls to take visible roles in their communities.

Within our organization, leadership is diverse and youth-focused. By centering youth and marginalized voices, the project amplifies perspectives often absent from climate decision-making and fosters the next generation of environmental leaders in Cameroon.
