Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

Humanity Centred Designs (HCD) is fundamentally built by and for underrepresented communities in the Global South.

Leadership Representation: HCD is youth-led and founded by Vishal Tolambia, a Forbes 30 Under 30 climate entrepreneur natively from Pushkar, India. This ensures our global operations are directed by leadership with lived experience in a climate-vulnerable region, rather than top-down Western intervention.

Community Empowerment: Our core mitigation model relies on organizing 150+ marginalized, informal Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in rural Rajasthan. These household-level artisans—many of whom are women and historically underserved populations—are disproportionately impacted by localized pollution and global climate change. Traditionally, they have been excluded from the formal, lucrative fashion supply chain.

We change this by providing direct financial incentives for zero-waste practices. By paying them to intercept organic pre-consumer offcuts, we don't just give them a voice; we give them a profitable, equitable stake in the global circular economy as frontline climate mitigators.
