This initiative implements a low-carbon food production model that integrates emission reduction with the protection and strengthening of natural carbon sinks. Through clean energy transition, energy efficiency, circular economy practices, and voluntary carbon compensation via certified REDD+ forest conservation projects, the initiative reduces greenhouse gas emissions while supporting long-term carbon sequestration and biodiversity protection in Colombia.
