Project Summary / Description:

Farmers face the challenges of food security and crop reduction due to climate change. So I start this project to solve this problem.

The project intentionally empowers groups that are underrepresented in the climate movement, particularly women, youth, and climate-vulnerable farming communities. Smallholder farmers in climate-exposed regions are prioritized as primary beneficiaries, ensuring that those most affected by climate change are central to solution development and implementation. Women farmers are actively targeted through inclusive outreach, flexible training schedules, and leadership opportunities within farmer groups, recognizing their critical role in food production and household nutrition. Youth engagement is promoted through skills training in sustainable agriculture, climate-smart technologies, and agribusiness, creating pathways for green employment and long-term stewardship of natural resources.

Participation is community-driven, with farmers involved in decision-making, demonstration plots, and peer-to-peer knowledge exchange, ensuring local knowledge and lived experience shape project outcomes. The organization implementing the project reflects these values through diverse representation among staff, field facilitators, and community leaders, with a strong presence of women and youth in technical and leadership roles. By building capacity, amplifying local voices, and removing barriers to participation, the project advances climate equity while delivering sustainable agricultural and climate resilience outcomes.
