Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
Videnvaren+ was founded with a mission to make climate adaptation accessible to communities most affected by extreme heat—particularly in Southeast Asia, where rising temperatures disproportionately impact low-income neighborhoods, informal settlements, and labor-intensive households without access to air-conditioning. By reducing indoor heat through passive cooling, our solution directly supports climate-vulnerable groups, improving health, comfort, and productivity without requiring ongoing energy costs. We also intentionally design our manufacturing and organizational model to empower underrepresented groups. Our leadership is woman-led, and more than 60% of our expanding team and partner network are women and youth in STEM, entrepreneurship, and construction—sectors where representation remains low. Through partnerships with the Young Entrepreneur Association of Thailand and community workshops, we create pathways for youth to participate in climate innovation, not only as beneficiaries but as co-creators and installers of new green-economy jobs. As we scale, we plan to pilot low-cost installations in public schools, community clinics, and elderly care centers, ensuring that climate resilience is not limited to high-income buildings. Our long-term vision is a circular cooling economy that uplifts marginalized groups—equipping youth with skills, creating dignified work opportunities, and delivering thermal comfort as a basic right, not a luxury.
