Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

The project and company is led by minority groups including a Black CEO from a disadvantaged community.  Our representation starts at the top with equity and leadership roles held by underrepresented groups. 

This project is delivering environmental justice to a disadvantaged minority community located near our steel slag waste sites by decarbonizing AND removing toxic waste from these neighborhoods.  By addressing both air and ground pollution, we will reduce adverse health impacts, poisoned groundwater, and contaminated soil in these communities.  Furthermore, these disproportionately impacted groups will gain from local economic impact as we convert this industrial brownfield site into reusable land sparking potential economic development.
