Arbon’s work supports communities that are underrepresented in the climate movement by expanding access to decarbonization pathways for hard-to-abate sectors and the communities affected by industrial emissions. By enabling modular CO2 capture for aluminum smelters and scaling to cement and other heavy industries, we help reduce localized air and climate impacts that often disproportionately affect nearby, underserved communities.

Representation is central to our operations. More than 50% of Arbon’s team is comprised of women, including in leadership and key technical roles. The majority of our team members are Asian, reflecting strong representation of people of color in both our scientific development and commercialization efforts. We also work with global industrial partners and plan deployments across regions (U.S., Europe, Asia), which broadens participation in climate solutions beyond a single geography. As we scale, we prioritize inclusive hiring and partnerships that create pathways for diverse talent to lead in climate hardware commercialization.

Arbon's mission is to decarbonize heavy industry and the atmosphere by scaling humidity-swing carbon capture, grounded in our Direct Air Capture of CO2 foundation, through a simple, low-energy process that enables deployment from aluminum smelters to cement and other hard-to-abate sectors.
