Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

Ecobed intentionally empowers women, youth, rural farmers, and climate-vulnerable communities. Many smallholder farmers lack reliable market access and disproportionately face the impacts of climate change and waste mismanagement. We provide income opportunities through waste collection partnerships, marketplace access via Nutrigrab, and leadership roles in circular-economy operations. Women are actively engaged in leadership, distribution, and training programs, enhancing economic independence and decision-making power. Youth serve as community champions, technicians, and digital platform operators, developing skills and leadership experience. Within our organization, leadership includes women in executive roles, young professionals, and team members from rural backgrounds, reflecting the communities we serve. By improving income, health outcomes, and environmental practices, we strengthen resilience and agency among those most affected by climate change.
