AgriSage is an AI powered climate smart farm planning and learning platform for smallholder farmers and rural youth. It helps users compare crop and livestock options, test climate and market scenarios, and understand practical climate smart actions using clear, grounded guidance. The platform combines simple planning analytics with an AI advisor designed to support adoption, improve resilience, and strengthen food system decision making.

Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

AgriSage is designed for climate vulnerable smallholder farmers and rural youth who are often underrepresented in climate innovation despite being highly exposed to climate impacts. We prioritize accessibility by translating complex climate and agronomy concepts into plain language guidance and learning modules that support practical decision making. Our distribution strategy focuses on partner led delivery through community groups, youth networks, and extension style channels to reach people with limited access to paid advisory services.

Underrepresented groups are also represented within our team and approach. Our core team includes three women who are university botany students contributing domain knowledge, research support, and content validation to ensure guidance is grounded in real agronomic context. We emphasize human centered design, community feedback loops, and accountability in how recommendations are presented, including uncertainty handling and prompts that encourage safe, locally verified actions. This helps ensure the project empowers the communities it serves rather than imposing generic solutions.
