Project Summary / Description:
”AGGREGATE FARMING, Every Step Counts” is a Quadruple Action project which improves the Health of the People and the Planet via Sensitization, provision of Agricultural services and Food Production, Economic Infrastructural development and Trainings. Through this project we engage and train members of our communities in tree planting activities across our Farms , homes and other strategic places to mitigate the observed climate change crisis, we embark in multiple Agricultural systems to improve healthy diet and encourage Biodiversity, Discourage indiscriminate burning via sensitizations to promote clean Air, promote the use of green manure and animal waste for fertilizer to improve soil fertility, and encourage Value Chain Businesses due to its culture of “Aggregation” because, the production of one encourages the sales and production of another with an overall change in Value and Attitude of Farmers and/or Individuals/Households for a Healthy and Safe Environment. Currently, a minimum of ten (10) Farmers or Individuals/Households from each of the Communities of our Intervention fully practices and produces at least a metric ton per year of either Rice, Maize, Cassava, and one or two fruit species and Vegetables with either a 100 Livestock, Birds or Fishery including the Planting of Trees that is constant for all as a rule in order to mitigate the recent climate change crisis and boost food production. We also, work to irrigate our farms for steady supplies.
How Project Affects Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions:
['Removes/stores GHGs (e.g., projects that capture, sequester, or otherwise enhance the "sinks" that accumulate and store GHGs)']
Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
We identify Livelihood opportunities in our communities and seek ways to harness them to promote the health of the People and the Planet. For the underserved, we nominate Aggregators who encourage and link them to us to enable them participate in the action to achieving healthier Environment for improved living standard.
