Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

We actively empower underrepresented groups by designing solutions that address both climate and social inequities. Women, youth, and climate-vulnerable communities are at the heart of our operations and impact strategy. In many target communities, women are primarily responsible for household energy and agricultural tasks; by providing clean, reliable biogas and organic fertiliser, the project reduces their exposure to smoke from firewood, saves time spent on fuel collection, and enhances income-generating opportunities through biofertilizer sales. Youth are engaged as trained technicians and community mobilizers, building local capacity, creating employment, and fostering leadership in climate solutions.

Within our organisation, women and youth hold key operational and decision-making roles, including system maintenance, community engagement, and monitoring. We prioritise hiring from the communities we serve, ensuring that benefits and leadership opportunities are locally rooted. Our participatory approach to deployment ensures that underrepresented groups are involved in co-designing solutions, training, and governance, which strengthens adoption and long-term sustainability. By linking climate action with tangible social empowerment, we demonstrate that equitable energy access, economic opportunity, and emissions reductions can advance hand-in-hand, amplifying both environmental and community resilience.
