How Project Affects Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions:
['Replaces/avoids GHGs (e.g., projects that replace sources of GHGs, such as the burning of fossil fuels for electricity, heat, transport, or other energy uses)', 'Reduces GHGs (e.g., projects that reduce sources of GHGs, such as through efficiency or other changes in consumption)']
Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
At The Farmlink Project, we empower groups underrepresented in the climate movement by centering climate-vulnerable and food-insecure communities in our work and creating meaningful pathways for youth leadership. By rescuing surplus produce and redirecting it to communities disproportionately impacted by climate change and economic inequity, we address both food access and environmental harm. Founded by young people, we continue to elevate youth voices through paid roles, fellowships, and hands-on leadership opportunities, with strong representation of women and young professionals across our staff and leadership. We also partner closely with farmers, farm workers, food banks, and community-based organizations to ensure local voices and lived experience guide our decisions and services.

Mission Statement:
Our mission is to ensure no good food is wasted and no one goes without, by building fast, fair systems that move surplus food to communities in need while preventing methane at scale.
