ReBean empowers underrepresented groups by embedding social inclusion into its circular economy model. Operating primarily in Morocco, the project engages youth, women, and workers from climate-vulnerable communities through local waste collection, processing, and logistics activities. ReBean creates accessible green jobs that do not require advanced technical backgrounds, providing training in waste handling, circular production, and environmental awareness.

Women are represented in ReBean’s leadership and operations, including key roles in operations and technology, supporting gender inclusion in sectors traditionally dominated by men. Youth engagement is central to ReBean’s growth, with young professionals involved in field operations, digital platform development, and community outreach.

By working with cafés, small businesses, and informal waste actors, ReBean helps integrate marginalized participants into formal value chains, improving income stability and working conditions. The project also raises awareness among local communities about waste reduction and climate action, empowering participants to contribute directly to climate solutions while benefiting economically and socially.
