Wangari Global does not directly target or deliver services to specific underrepresented communities. Instead, it operates upstream, influencing how large organizations make financial and operational decisions that have downstream social and environmental consequences.

By improving decision quality, accountability, and transparency, Wangari aims to reduce systemic inefficiencies and risks that often disproportionately affect vulnerable populations. For example, our analyses have highlighted links between governance structures, including leadership diversity, and organizational performance, supporting evidence-based conversations about inclusion rather than symbolic compliance.

Within the organization, Wangari is currently founder-led and operates with a small, flexible network of collaborators selected based on expertise and alignment rather than formal hierarchies. As Wangari grows, inclusivity and diversity in collaboration and leadership are intentional priorities, but we do not claim direct representation or community-level empowerment at this stage.
