Project Summary / Description:

The goal is to to build a 65 cubic meters of biogas. This will help the Nyahihanga Technical school to save money that could be used to attract qualified teachers and acquire technical equipment

Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

Burundian women are responsible to collect firewood in the forest and wooded areas and also cook food. Cooking generates a lot smoke and impact their health. Using biogas will save their energy and time. If biogas is adopted by small families, this will impact the life of rural communities. In our organization, women represent 20% of the board.
