This initiative develops and validates low-energy blended amine systems for post-combustion CO₂ capture from industrial flue gases. By combining molecular-level solvent design, experimental performance evaluation, and full-scale process simulation, the project reduces the energy penalty of carbon capture and enables scalable, cost-effective emission reductions in high-emitting industries such as steel, petrochemical, and refining sectors.
